For this reason the catholic-theological faculty day and the department of faith and education in the secretariat of the German bishop conference out completely initiated a universitydidactical further training for Habilitierende and attaining a doctorate of catholic theology before eight years Germany.

As place for the further training the Upper Bavarian monastery Benediktbeuern was selected. The baroque Ambiente, the philosophical-theological university of the Salesianer Don Boscos and the youth education place center of action form - so the unanimous opinion of the responsible persons - a very much suitable framework, in order to concern itself with the switching up-to-date from theology to.

In the winter semester 2007/08 the universitydidactical further training already takes place for the fifth time. The Dresdener Religionspdagogin Professor Dr. Monika Scheidler and the Dortmunder theologian Dr. Oliver rice has the line. In the meantime the further training was accredited after the standards of the working group for university didactics, so that the participation can acquire 30 Credits (points of achievement).

Of 18. by 22 September 2007 as well as of 4. up to 8. March 2008 Nachwuchstheologinnen meet and - theologians, who have interest in an academic career, to workshop seminars in Benediktbeuern. In the intermediate lecture time they collect practical teacher driving at their homeland universities. They receive to support by supervision and by collegial Hospitationen.
