Invitation/press date: 26.11.2006 - Inauguration of the largest sun current plant of the Rhine Erft circle (100 KW) on the roof of the district house mountain home

- mountain home, impudent one, Willich, 15.11.2006 - the largest solar power plant of the Rhine Erft circle is taken to the 26.11.2006 on Sunday, at 10.00 o'clock, in the district house mountain home in enterprise. On initiative of circle departmental head Manfred Kohl man and land advice Werner Stump locked the circle a contract over the solar suppl. tables use of the roof area of the district house mountain home with the Frechener company Pirig solar energy, in order to take in the next years by its commitment as well as with support of the citizens and citizens with the use of renewable energies a role of the pioneer.

The solar panels on the district house will have a rated output of 100 kilowatts (KW), which are fed starting from 26 November into public electricity mains. The building of a deratigen plant costs approx. 440,000 euro, but the circle pays for it no Pfennig: Pirig solar energy finances and operates the plant at own expense. The Clou: The enterprise pays for the use of the roof area a lease of 640, - EUR/Monat to the circle.

This is possible, because investments are promoted to sun stream by the renewable energy law (EEG): For such plants there are 49.28 cent at present per a KW/H - and for the next 20 years guarantees. Pirig solar energy leased first 800 square meters of the roof area for 20 years. Altogether the district house has however 1600 sunny square meters, with which no branch and no tree impair the radiation. Pirig solar energy has itself already an option on further 800 square meters secured and wants in the next year still more solar cells to present. Managing director Manfred Pirig: Sun stream is worthwhile itself apart from environmental protection also financially! Because who today in sun stream invests, profits 20 years long from guaranteed acceptance prices for the river, which are sufficient, to finance the plant fully and to gain a beautiful net yield. And if there is no more promotion sometime, sun generators can use their free of charge then long of the roof coming river - instead of it expensively with the power suppliers to buy.

With the EEG the Federal Government promotes the spreading of renewable energies to Germany. A goal: To increase development and structure of an industry for renewable energies and so the portion of renewable energies until 2020 to at least 20%. Manfred Pirig determines: With it the Federal Government creates the economical basis for all those property owners, who want to use their roof areas for the production of sun stream. With the solemn start-up of the sun current plant on the district house we want to refer to these economic and environmental protection-relevant advantages of solar power plants. All citizens, who are interested in it, sun generators to become, are cordially invited to this informative meeting!
