Provoking results of the InterPM 2006: Agiles project management owing to successful integration of the practice sociology into the project management of engineers

Participant of the InterPM & members of the BDS - Frankfurt/Main, 2.5.2006 - of 28-29.4. 2006 organized the German society for project management (GPM) together with the society for computer science registered association and the professional association of German Soziologinnen and sociologist (BDS) the InterPM 2006 in Commerzbank the Collegium in glassworks in the Taunus.

The executive committee of the German society for project management (GPM), Professor Dr. Nino grey, FH Friedberg, pointed out in its contribution that to the successful project management already today already many proven standards and process knowledge and kommunikative organization techniques for order stand. Nevertheless however ever more innovation process and engineer projects fail today to individual challenges and to the more unstable requirements and social basic conditions. Grey welcomed therefore in his speech before one hundred project managers from the industry expressly the shoulder conclusion of sociologists and engineers, clearly visible in the program organization of this conference. Grey: This conference shows that the Interdisziplinaritt in the Projektmanegement finds meanwhile a world-wide acknowledgment and application. For Erich Behrendt, the chairman of the professional association of German Soziologinnen and sociologist (BDS) and Mitveranstalter of the conference pointed out the discussion of the experts already on the first day clearly the high value of the sociology with the successful organization of change processes.

Behrendt: The contributions on the InterPM 2006 and the participation of over one hundred project management expert show that a successful integration of practice-sociological knowledge in the project management are possible.

on Saturday the participants provoked: Coolly the project managers requested to analyze the problem definition their project more exactly than so far and deviate if necessary from the pattern of the classical Projektmanagments and occur a Netzwerkmanagment. Wave defined problem rather with the methods and tools the classical Projektmanagment to be solved will have, while e.g. with the development of soft commodity projects or restructuring measures the human factor can nevertheless work in the technical Organsation without targets better and change processes can initieren. It suggested therefore, the chaotic reality in some projects also in the training - guidelines of the project managers and engineers reflecting.
